Your picture is breathtaking. It's a beautiful shot, such vivid vibrant colour. Lovely.

Having looked at the shot of your thumb, I think it is amazing that this shot is so clear and precise. That insect is minute. Great shot.

Fabulous shot, and looks like a nice tranquil place to be.

I would give my eye teeth for a sunrise like that one. Truly awesome shot.

Hi Lynn, It's nice to meet you! Welcome to My Shots. I love this site! It's a lot of fun & entertaining for me as I have a heart problem that makes me have to rest! I see you love shooting flowers too. Your photos are very clear and crisp. My camera isn't all that good but until I can by a better one it will have to do. I visited England in 1980 and found it a enchanting country. I'll never forget the moss covered roofs in the beautiful contryside. Have you ever been to the US? We live in the Northwest & in the Southwest. I see you are a Web Designer. I'm trying to get a site up for the jewelry clocks my husband & I make. You can guess what all our kids get for gifts! Best regards, Ann

Thanks for your reply Ann. I am very quickly starting to love this site too.
I've never been to America, but my husband has, and assures me that he will take me one day. I really can't wait. I have spondolosis of the spine, so I don't get out much either. Journey's are quite difficult too. I do force myself to walk a little way when the weather is nice though. A tip for your site, it's cheap, has everything you need, and easy to use. Try it and let me know how you get on.

Yes you may add me to your "friends" list. May I add you to mine?
It's fun discovering and making new friends that have the same interest like photography. Take care. Blessings, Doreen (Reneedeetwin)

Thanks so much Doreen. Of course you may add me to your friends list, that goes without saying. I agree this site is fun. I love photography it is such a joy to be able to keep some of the beautiful things nature offers us every day. I did however join a british site like this one last year, as I thought it was a good idea to see if my work was as good as myself and my family thought. Unfortunately, it did nothing but completely devalue my self esteem. After almost a year, and umpteen photo's posted, I have only ever had severe criticism. At first it put me off, not only posting photo's but also taking them. Now I have found this site, and learned a very valuable lesson, nature is there for us all to enjoy and in every picture there is beauty, even if we are the only ones who see it. I am back to clicking away, and enjoy the warm and friendly people I have met on this site. Thank you.

Thank you very much Lynn for your nice comment on my pink begonia. As you've probably noticed, I take shots mostly of flowers. I'm not experienced taking shots of other objects. And, I'm still learning. You take care, my friend. May the Lord bless you richly!
